About Sheena

Dr Karnani’s practice integrates many diverse therapies to cater to each client's unique needs. Her uncompromisingly holistic approach, coupled with her firm adherence to evidence-based therapeutic interventions, inspires her to work collaboratively with all her clients – whether individuals, couples or families – to overcome personal conflicts, life disruptions and unresolved (or even undetected) traumas.

This approach also underpins her role as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), harnessing the relationship between diet and mental health – a subject attracting increasing attention in professional circles these days.

A mother of two adult children, Dr Karnani is fluent in English, Hindi and Sindhi.

A practising psychologist based in Hong Kong since 2015, Dr Sheena Karnani is passionate about using clinical psychology to help people from diverse backgrounds achieve their desired life goals. She possesses a wealth of experience from living and working in multiple countries and therefore understands the nuances of different cultures variations in responding to common life challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and pivotal moments.

In addition to being HKICP and HCPC-registered, Dr Karnani holds multiple certifications and is affiliated with top international organisations in the industry.  In fact, she is recognised as a Leader for the Gottman Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, and often presides over DBT Skills Training Groups.
